Self promotion is something I've never really been good at. If I could figure out how to do it I would. Just not sure how to get a foot in the door.

It only occurred to me to post this image after seeing Blazer's post about P-51 Mustangs and then seeing this thread; it seemed the logical thing to do. I've always loved the P-51, and I made this painting as a gift to myself after finishing a very large commission. For many years I had been using an airbrush making large, photoreal landscape paintings, so this was a fun and welcome change. It was unlike anything I'd been doing or do now. I just like airplanes. It was also the last airbrushed painting I ever made.

Thanks, sneha. This one is 70" x 46". I used to work at close to that size quit a bit years ago but not as much these days. The large commission I mentioned was 13' x 15'. Wouldn't do that again. Really like some of your stuff, too. Those ceramic sculptures and abstracts were especially nice, I thought.

This is Daniel Day-Lewis' character, Bill "The Butcher" Cutting, from the movie "Gangs of New York".

Prismacolors on 14X17 Bristol vellum.

Derwent Watercolour pencils for the flag background.

I used ink for the blood spatter on the matte. I also distressed the frame, to give it a rustic look.

My father does it exclusively.

Millions & millions of tiny dots all with India ink & pen.
It's incredibly impressive.

Here's a piece I did for my best mate as a wedding gift. It nothing like as good as some of the stuff posted here, but it was painted with plenty of man-love for my homie.

It was drawn freehand and then painted white on to black sugar paper.

It's far from perfect, but he dug it.
