Got in a pinch last night and picked one of these up spur of the moment. This is the first of the 3 class D heads that I have owned that has actually done it for me. The tone from this thing is thick. I've owned a SD800 and the WTX500 and they both were missing something, I assumed it was just the tone of light weight heads. This head sounds like a 25 Lbs lead sled. not missing a thing.
Honestly it sounds very similar to my Mesa M9. The dirt sounds really good, but I'll probably never use it. Compared to my WTX 500, The GK kills it volume wise
