Depends on new vs old. The older ones are just the nylon skin with the rubberized back for water resistance. The newer ones (not sure of availability) ARE lightly padded, and seem a bit more durable to me as well. I had the newer style on my 212, and have them on my 115's. I did manage to get a couple of the 112 covers from the initial run, but then they were out of them, and I'm not sure of current availability, but check into it.
Depending on how you handle your cabs, the older skins are just fine, but the newer ones are very definitely nicer.
