Gig tomorrow, but my other neo 1x12 won't be in until next week. Will a single 1 x 12 cut it? Pretty loud drummer, pretty loud guitarist through a 2x12 combo.....
You might be heard but not felt. Less air moving. Any chance you could send the bass signal via the PA through the MB500 fusion's DI output?

Nope, PA is only for vocals. I should mention it's a horrible sounding room. 30 foot ceiling, square brick walls. Just guessing....maybe 100 ft by 100ft

I went through RMC. They had one 12 in stock. That was on the first of May. I can't believe it's taking over three weeks to get my other cab.

I got to the gig last night. We were opening, so we needed a fast changeover. So I left the single in my trunk, and I hauled out my big rig for the show, an LDS 1515/66. We've played this place every 5 weeks or so for the past 6 years. I've given up trying to sound good there, in fact, it's the only time I gladly wear ear plugs! I plugged in, hit a note, and the entire band stopped setting up and turned around and looked. Sounded AMAZING. The first time EVER, I sounded good in there. Can't wait for my second cab next week to try out on the gig next Friday.
had my 500fusion for a while and the only problem is that all the bassists in my area now want one also.bu$$ers.
Stopped by Bass Northwest last week and had a chance to test drive a number of rigs. Went in thinking the Tone Hammer would be the one for me but walked out with the MB Fusion...just had the sound I like through the Bag End cabs.
I'm still patiently waiting for the Fusion 800, but just picked up the Fusion 500 in the classifieds here. I'm excited to get it.
My home practice rig is the GK MB200 into a Berg HT322. Can't wait to hear how the Fusion 500 sounds through the Berg. Should be awesome.
Before I even get it, I'm already thinking about the 12AX7 tubes. I have a few vintage tubes like Telefunken, Mullard, etc. Anyone try those in it?

I have heard changing the tubes is a pain and only warrantied by a GK licensed repair person.
When is the Fusion 800 supposed to be out?
Mine sounded pretty great right out of the box, so I have no desire to mess with it. Besides, it looks like a challenging swap in that tiny space. From what I can see, mine look like JJ's. It's interesting, I don't recall that the topic's come up in this thread much.

I am not sure about the GK licensed repairman part, but the entire tube "cage" swings up to allow for easy tube swapping. I think you need to remove 1-2 small screws to do so. It's pretty obvious when you look at it with the cover off.
