GR AT Cube 800...damn, this looks like something special!

There appears to be no clear winning slam dunk here, as one might expect given the competitive nature of Class D amp designs.

I have emailed GR Bass to ask if the Pure Amp 350 is still in production. I'll post any reply I get.

Also, in a dormant GR Bass thread, I found the Sonata Marketing rep, @jfiles and have PMed him. If he's still active, he may pop in.

I checked jfiles' messages, and he has not posted on Talkbass since 2020. Sonata Marketing still has a website up, but it doesn't show any GR Bass product. I used their website contact form to inquire. So this is now three different ways I've used to try to find out what's going on.

I'll post anything I hear.

I’m not all warm and fuzzy about a manufacturer who lists ~10 dealers, and none of them list the product.

I really don't think. I think they have suply chain issues, like many amp manufacturers. At least, they are still active on Facebook, today they posted a story with their stand at the NAMM trade show.

The price is so close between the PureAmps and the ONE series, that I sell about 50:1 ONE series to the PureAmp series. For example, the new MAP price of the PureAmp800 is $649, while the ONE800 is only $799. I should see more of the GR gear in the next 60 days."

I was wonderin the same thing. With the amps you have the "Pure" included and the option to use the eq when needed

Of course is cool to have the ability to choose and save 150...

Yeah, we're the only people that use inches anywhere in the world.

We're also the only people that call football soccer. And a preschool version of rugby, football. Which is a sport that involves carrying a ball in your hands.

I’ve had an MB58R Mini CMD 121 Pure for about 2 weeks, and it’s very hissy with no tweeter control. The weight and features are great. I actually love it for jazz guitar, and it sounds nice in my house, but the hiss is always there. I play and record double bass a lot with mostly acoustic classical and jazz groups, and it just won’t cut it.

I’m actually returning it to the store today ostensibly because it has a faulty Speakon, but I’m just going to bite the bullet and get the ATCUBE Acoustic from Clubbass.ca!

Are you using the "ol skool" knob? That will cut the hiss.

I want to hear what my bass guitar sounds like through my Carvin V3. Not bas enough to take everything out from under my bed and hook it all up. I had tow six by nine's and listened to a guy on another forum and wired the drivers in series and it started sounding okay, but then it got this weird warbully sound going on and then I tried to hook them up in series two different ways... Same result... I KNOW now not to listen to people on forums if it seems like they don' t know what they are talking about.

My new electric guitar setup now had two Bose woofers... I LOVE IT! I just hope that it doesn't fry tubes or speakers.
