The weight IS the big deal. Nearly 7lbs extra is nothing to sneeze at. As far as durability, I have been schlepping it around since I received it with zero issues. I live in the Boston area and it has been out and about in all kinds of weather.

I got a custom cover made for it and now they have the dimensions (from me) to make it for anyone GR BASS AEROTECH AT110 CABINET COVER.

Great to hear, color me interested. I ended up with two different MAS 1/8 cabinets one is 25 lbs. the other is 30 lbs. That extra 5 pounds makes a huge difference in how portable the cabinet is. Even though the 25 lb cabinet has less

power it goes out all the time to gigs, the 30 lb. has gone out far less. They are both powered cabinets. What I'd like is a MAS 1/8 built out of Carbon Fiber.

I had the MAS 1/6 - the newer one he built. I like the AT-110 much better in all ways but YMMV.

Does anybody lurking this thread have experience with an active GR 110? That seems like a real winner for the Felix/Other preamp game. Just curious if there are downsides to the implementation, or if it's on par with known stand-alone miniature-ish power options?

I was thinking of getting one but doubt it would be any easier better than my AT-110 and Bergantino Forte D combo.

I use my AT110 with a Clarus SL. About as portable as it gets, and I love the amount of clean power. If I wanted to blend, I could either use the power amp side of the SL and a Headway, or a Jay Ganz Power Amp and a pre, etc. I would have at least 500 watts minimum of juice that way.
I love my little minimalist setup, and beats the snot out of a Polytone. The AT110 goes out with me every time. Killer tone and flyweight. So, so worth every dime!!

For me, it’s entirely the weight. I don’t have a car, so walking around with the bass and amp the weight savings is top priority. Sure it is only 3kg but that’s almost half the weight!

I have a cahon bag with backpack straps that is about the right size for a 1x10".

The at110 is a little too big for a standard cahon bag. I found a slightly oversized bag that was still a half inch too small.

I bought a shoulder bag from David Messina. It was expensive ($200 ish I think), but I’ve had GREAT customer service from David and wanted to pick all the details. The quality is A+, I almost expect the bag to last longer than the cab

This is what I use for my Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0-10T.

I might have as be chosen a different one when I had known before that at my size (not tall) carrying by hand can contact the floor.

Because there is still room on top of the amp, I tend to put the small backpack with sheet music, foldable music stand and preamp inside too and then it gets a bit heavy at my age (60+). But that’s not really a problem of the bag, but of the user handling it.

It is very robust, have it in use since few years (but not very frequently) and no sign of use except for the shoulder pillow surface.

I use this very bag for my at-110, it's a snug fit but it works great! There is also some room left on top of the cab, so I can throw in my AI head (in its case) as well.

Same here, but I attached my AI with Velcro to the cab. Quite handy!!

I bought the 18/28 combo when Mike was having a deal on them and I absolutely loved the 28. Never needed to add the 18 gigs and that's without PA support. Now that I've gone to being ampless and using in-ears, I sold it because it was pretty heavy and I needed the cash. I kept the 18 for a practice amp and when coupled with my AI Ten2 head, it sounds glorious at home with DB and BG. The only worry is when I sit in with other bands, my AI amp is the 900 watt version and I have to be careful not to turn it up too much. But the 18 is my choice for small cabs.
