I feel you. But I didn't think there's much lighter than GR. But I do like the simplicity of not thinking about your rig. That's why I went to a single 4ohm 212 instead of a 15 + 210. Much less stress, weight and floorspace!
Not sure what GR One 800s go for but let me know when you land on a number.
The little Mini ONE I have as a in-house/backup amp was more than up to the task last night. It really was a little killer! Everything flat...sounded great.
I'm not shipping it. It will just be a local (South TX) sale.

Yes the power is the only difference.
The greater weight is given by the more powerful woofer.

Very tempted to get the mini one. Sold all my amps and need one for garage with a trumpet player. Any long term users of the mini? My other choice is an old Genz Benz 3.0 just beacause i am familiar with it. Cabs are a MAS 16 and 26.
Love mine except for the fan noise. Otherwise, it's solid, loud and quite nicely voiced.

Because of the above posts I paid some attention to the fan noise of my One Mini. Although it certainly makes noise it it is not a high pitched noise / it is not a 'whining' noise if that makes any sense. It is more of a calming 'you can go to sleep' noise haha! I have this Mini for half a year now and am still very pleased with it!
Today during practice the blue power LED started to flash RED once in a while. I was afraid it was a power limit warning but it appeared to be just an input clip indicator. The manual confirmed this, but this had previously escaped my attention.

Yes, it's not whiny but it's noticeable. That's my one and only criticism of the amp. I love everything else about it.
Not sure if the Mini is the same design as the One 800, if it is, check and see if it is a 24V fan. If so, you may be able to split the difference to two 12V fans, and lower the noise (they will spin at 1/2 the speed but you should have the same air volume moving through the case).....worked for me. The fan is no louder than any of my other bass heads after.
True, it took me a few months to get it after ordering through Thomman.
I have the Aerotech 212 cab and the Pure 800 amp. I don’t think there’s any gear available on the market to beat it. If there was, I’d buy it. But as yet, GR Bass is the very best I’ve ever used - and I’ve been through a lot of different amps.
