Graphic EQ pedals

Hi guys, can anyone recomend a good graphic eq pedal to use? i am looking for a non noisy pedal that does it's JOB! i was going to get the boss bass graphic eq pedal the older model GE-7b of ebay, but recently discovered that most boss pedals are just noisy. After looking on ebay i found a couple more, a maxon bass EQ and a guyatone EQ. i have never tried either guyatone or maxon pedals, as they dont seem to be that common to get hold of, but the thought of going back to boss pedals makes my AMP cry

any suggestions would be great!!

I never had any noise problems with my old brown Boss GEB-7. Also the older blue MXR graphic EQ is very low-noise. I haven't tried the newer versions of those Boss or MXR units though. Another thing- if you boost the highs, using any sort of EQ at any price point, you will increase the noise. Don't know if that was the issue for you.

I really like my Boss GEB-7. It works well and is available at a good price new. I don't find it to be noisy except as mentioned previously, when the higher frequencies are increased. I've heard that people also the like the MXR M-108for both the price and the 10 band Eq that it offers.

I just picked up an old Ibanez BE10. I haven't noticed any significant noise.

I'm in the process of getting a discontinued Boss EQ-20. I got it off ebay, there is another one up there. when I get it I'll post a reveiw, but it looks good to me.

I got that MXR 10band EQ, Its really nice. Very low noise. Freq. response down to 31hz i think.

I have the Kerry King 10 band eq, same as reg 10 band but with 2 outputs. It is very low noise and works really really well. Highly recommend it, also you can use it as a gain boost or clean boost

Hows the boss GEB-7 work on guitar? It would be mainly for bass but I like keeping my pedal board multi functional.

I love my Trace Elliot EQ pedal. I think they are a little hard to come across these days though. Mine isn't noisy at all. I like it much better than the previous Boss pedal I had.

I owned the MXR 6 band newer model with the lighted sliders and it was very quiet. I ended up replacing it with the MXR Micro Amp as a slight boost was all I needed and when doing an a/b comparison, the Micro Amp was a cleaner and sweeter sounding boost than what I could get out of the eq.

I miss that eq pedal cause it looked so cool!

I've been looking at that one on-line as well Spanky...but I've never seen one or had a chance to mess with it...

If anyone has any experience with the AMT please let us know!
