P bass, but totally unidentifiable (by me anyway) guitars. Japanese? The Studio One house band, probably late '60s.

Should add that I'm trying to find out what the geets might be, as this kind of thing was commonplace in photos from the ska and rocksteady into early reggae period. If there's an equivalent available today, I'm on it. Danelectro might be closest?...

EDIT: sweet mother o' mine, I think I've identified the one at right as a Teisco K-56! Persistence pays!

If I am not mistaken Charlie parker occasionally played a plastic alto.

He used the plastic alto on the historic "Jazz at Massey Hall" recording. His regular one was in the pawn shop, if I remember correctly.
