I’ve seen them for lower than that but with some buckle rash. And some lower with no no chips or dings. Id offer $100 less if they are taking offers . But I would still buy it at that price because of limited availability .

I have been playing bass for 30 years and never a better player than I am today.:thumbsup::bassist::hyper:

I am also the worst player I know today, because there is an overwhelming amount I do not and never will know....:(

Today, I spent an evening get a decent (no where near perfect) handle on the first few
bars of the late Don Blackman’s “Heart’s Desire,” featuring the criminally underrated Barry “Sonjohn” Johnson on bass. The USA Geddy is great for learning the songs of my youth because it is a new and improved copy of the bass so many of my heroes were playing at that time.

:hyper:One of the best basses ever made. I’m really impressed with the variety of tones I can get out of it.
Everything wide open sounds amazing. But so does different pickup blendings and soloing each pickup.
I usually can’t stand the bridge pickup solo on a 70’s pickup placement bass. It’s usually too thin and harsh for my ears. But with the US Geddy , it stays rich and full.
I don’t know if it’s the pickup voicing , the alder body , the high mass bridge or a combination of all of the above . I just know that this bass has additional presence and sweetness to the notes . :headphone:

I said it before, this bass has a secret ingredient that gives it something I have never heard in a passive Jazz before.

A bit of both. I suspect our delays are due to covid, you ordered one at the perfect time.
