Well, maybe so, but I still liked it.That was a purely extemporaneous piece of chicanery, inspired by El Bajo's jazzy hushings. I have a certain proclivity toward off the cuff poetry, owing mainly to the fact that I am completely full of ****.

Because its funny. Interwebs = laughter and fun. Not PC behavior.
Welcome to the INTERNET.
No need to welcome me to the Internet - like I mentioned in a previous thread, I'm an IT guy and I've been on the Internet since before the invention of AOL and "Web sites", when the Internet was accessed through a BBS over a dialup connection. I'm on every day, and can access the 'net 24x7 from various devices.
Insults and heckling are one thing, but being cruel was never funny to me.
so are you saying that the guy who threw the shell on stage was being cruel? Because I have a strong feeling that most people would say the Courtney Love was being cruel to the crowd long before she got shell shocked ;-)
I find it quite amusing, as long as it's only meant to be amusing and not some psycho honestly threatening to kill her...
but being cruel to your fanbase isn't funny at all. It's the response that was funny.
Hmmmm... somehow having to describe a joke takes away from it just a bit LoL
Loving this thread, thanks guys!
I found it funny as well. Comedy is in the ear of the beholder, I guess.
Didnt some chick in a band I cant remember the name of pull out her tampon and fling it at some heckler in the audience? And, uh, she didnt pull it out of her purse...if you know what I mean.
Why is that great?
There's another kind? One gig we played years ago there was a band opening for us that had an angry vegan lady singing....
Could never figure how Hole ever made it past their first gig. Probably just that misguided feeding frenzy of record companies signing any band from Seattle at the time.
There's another kind?
As I recall, there were quite a few of the self-righteous kind, too.
