Green body, what color pickguard?

Just picked up a transparent green body in the classifieds. Now comes the fun part, adding the pickguard. Part of me want's to go full Irish and add a green pearloid guard, the pimp in me says gold anodized. The polock in me says put a red pearloid guard on it, and only play it at Christmas.

I'm also split about which neck to use. I have two necks, one maple, one rosewood.

Don't be ridiculous, irridescent white pearl is the only color for a green body, with Carrots as a second choice. So I guess gold.

red is negative of green so they go togeter really nice

If it's a light green, black and a maple fretboard.

If it's a darker green, white pearloid and the maple fretboard.

Rosewood fretboard...Sell it and buy a neck with either a maple or ebony fretboard.

For reference:

No pics yet, but these pics are pretty close to the color and grain of the wood. White pearloid is nice, but I'm lookin for something a little offbeat.

So far, gold anodized, red pearl and tort are what keep bouncing around in my head.

I swear pics are coming. I think my daughter took the camera to school with her. I'm having the previous owner send me his pics.

out of the options i chose mint but some sort of white would be best IMO.

I'd say white, but it wasn't a choice. But wouldn't go "offbeat"

Of the choices I picked mint green; a two tone green bass might look pretty good, but a light shade of red or hot pink might look pretty cool too.
