BEAUTIFUL!!! That's a jHawk Customs if I ever saw one. I really think greenboy knocked this one out of the park and IMPROVED upon the mighty 12/6/1 :)

Has anyone here that has owned/played an nv610 cab compared it to a dually? Obviously there will be a different in low end but, as far as mids, highs, feel, quickness, growl, dispersion, sensativity, etc. Im really curious.

Maybe for you, but I was thinking that in a light backline situation with a good front end, a pair of these would be great to have in front of me on the floor. I bet our keyboard player would love at least one of them too (Though it's hard to rest the leslie top on a wedge ;) ).

One of these days, I hope to haul my NV610 up to Mike Arnopol's place and make this comparison. We'll see, though--I'm short on time at the moment and, well, I haven't asked him yet.:D

Maybe a little overkill, but this would leave you with all the volume potential of the 12/6 when needed. Plus, as mentioned on GB's forums, this thing is apparently a little lighter than even the regular 12/6?

I was actually indecisive between the two, since a C8/88 would have been much easier to prop up for monitor duties, but I didn't think I was the target market for the tone it was designed for. This thing seems to bridge the gap for me.

I can see where you might want the heft of the 12/6. On the other hand, a monitor is pointed straight at your ears so volume doesn't need to be THAT loud. And it's nice to keep stage noise to a minimum if there's a PA involved.

I think the beauty of this cab is that it covers all the bases. Monitor wedge, tilt back practice wedge, and straight up stand alone cab. A pair of them could be used as a stage rig when you have to cove some of the room, or as a personal monitor and a drum monitor.

This cab has a lot of utility.

Bend my arm, mate! I agree this cab is a beauty. A 12/6 was my main cab for more than two years and I loved it. Lately, I've become addicted to the the ultralight and fairly loud Crazy8 so perhaps it's my lazy bones that are playing the contrarian.
