Hi guys, I have been lurking around here for awhile looking at the threads and so on, but I finally decided it was about time I joined the community.
Anyway, I have been playing bass guitar for over a year and is my first instrument. I dabble a bit with, keyboard, guitar and ocasionally banjo. I was drawn to the bass by Steve Harris of Iron Maiden so he was my first influence. Though these days I site the likes of Geddy Lee, Les Claypool and John Myung as influences.
Music wise I listen to alot of different stuff ranging from Iron Maiden, Rush, Primus, Dream Theater(Liquid Tension Experiment aswell), Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Shadow Gallery, Threshold, Muse and many more bands.
I look forward to a long and educated stay here on Talkbass
