Try placing a 47pF to 100pF cap across the input jack (signal and ground). You could also put the cap in the shell of the plug that is connected to the comp.

So learn to solder, gee I dunno, look on youtube?

what has being 13 got to do with it? I could solder at 13, heck, I could weld at 13,ok maybe 14. Your gen has no excuses, everything you need to know is on wiki, everything you want a demo of is on youtube, you've got it easy!

I didn't wanna sound rude, more that if you learn to solder now, you will save a lot of time and money doing rewiring, swapping pickups etc in the future. If you don't have a soldering iron, they are around $30-$50, well worth the cost in saved repair costs later.

Definitely check all your cables. Is that your inly pedal? What is your signal chain?

no, it's not me only pedal, and it does chain. I used it with a bug muff pi, and a Morley dual bass wah.

Ok, so, have you tried just Bass > known good cable > CS-3 > known good cable >amp? Just that, with the compressor powered alone, not in a daisy chain?

Frank's suggestion would be something to try then. The capacitor should be fairly easy to get at an electronics store or online. It should cost very little.

What kind of bass are you using? Any shielding issues there?

Are there any Tb members close to this young person? Someone help him (or her out).

If I was closer i'd help you out.

In the spirit of Christmas I will pay shipping to and from whoever will fix this pedal, and even a few bucks for an adult beverage.

Don't worry Max, we'll find someone to help you out.

  20. If you´ve tried it yet then the solution is changing the capacitor.
