Grunge is back! First gig done...

I would not be too surprised - I know a few women in their 20s-30s who like grunge, or at least say they were really into it when they were in high school. No guys, oddly enough.

And there's the whole zoomer grunge and grungegaze trend, though I don't know any such fans IRL.

Lol, As the bass player for the Texas Premier STP tribute band "Unglued" I approve, nice job.

We are also in a 90s 2000 cover band called "the Lostboys" and we have found that crowds are now starting to crave the even harder stuff, Chevelle Tool, RATM, Drowning Pool, Puddle of Mud, etc.

The lighter stuff like matchbox 20 is not as sought out anymore. At least by our crowd.

Great job, sounds awesome
I took a look at some of Unglued's YouTube vids - nice bass rig you've got there. Fender Rumble series?

Unglued was our opener for awhile, then Crackerman. Way to set the tone! Last few gigs we've opened with Zen. Bush gets a really good response.. .everyone likes Bush.

Second gig complete - a week after our first one. A much smaller audience, this time at the Victoria Biker's pub in Coalville (Leicestershire, UK).

We had an actual stage this time, and much more space. I'm not sure that the event was well advertised or promoted, as we're still new - however, the small crowd there did seem to enjoy it. As did we!

PA setup was quicker, and the overall sound was much better. Here's a couple of video clips from the evening.

Next gig in a week's time in Kettering (Northamptonshire - not Ohio!)
