Guild Pilot bass club?

Happy New Year 2025 to everyone - let's hope that it's a good and prosperous one for all of us...!
So, I've been busy the past couple of weekends with two of my Pilots - the white-to-copper refin and the trans blue burst...Both came to me with, among other issues, passive DiMarzio pups - their previous owners having replaced the original active EMGs for whatever reason...
The now copper 602 had the DiMarzios put back in after the refin because I didn't have the replacement EMGs in hand when it was completed, so it got pulled apart and "fixed" once and for all yesterday...I started the trans blue burst 602M last weekend, "fixing up" the P-pup cavitys, milling away the 9v battery shelf and drilling the hole (in exactly the same place as the 4th pot on a 902 Advanced) for the 4th pot of the EMG BTS system...Yesterday I pimped the control cavity and filled it up - later tonight I will string it up, then it's JOBS DONE for this round...(After this I have 5 more Pilots that need some love and attention...😏)

Neal Moser (of golden age B.C. Rich electronics fame) created a bass boost stompbox several years ago and didn't know what color to make the cases...I told him to make them metallic Royal purple and he did - then he sent me one with my name engeaved into it...

The whole run wound up that awesome color while the guitar version got plain old red...Heh-heh...😁
