What type of paint was used on the late 80's early 90's "Bluey" pilots?
Laquer?
No problem, anytime...^^^Thank you!^^^
I've got an Electric Blue that's finish has seen better days and am trying to figure out which color to re-finish it with.....
You can never go wrong with a sparkle finish like on a bowling ball or a bass boat. I vote purple.I've got an Electric Blue that's finish has seen better days and am trying to figure out which color to re-finish it with.....

Seems I should be in this club. The last time I bout a brand new bass was early 1988, and it was this beautiful Pilot 902. Serial number in the very low teens. I have probably bought 40-50 used basses since then. Won't ever get rid of this one

Does anyone happen to have a picture of the Pilot that was pink and blue burst? I used to see it all the time and cannot find it now....
