The real question is, how soon will The Weeknd finally become The Weekend; certainly by now he can afford to buy a vowel, and more important, just why is he The Weeknd?

I know you're asking in jest, but since I'm an old person who just found this out, a lot of artists in the internet age with common words as names intentionally misspell them so that they become google-able... Weeknd, Chvrches, Wavves etc

They wouldn’t have that problem if they made the effort to come up with an original name, and besides, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye is a pretty rad moniker, I don’t know why he wouldn’t be proud of that.
Chvrches is pretty lame considering that for 40 years and counting there has been a band named The Church…they’re actually friends of mine(plus Lords of the New Church, Metal Church, Drug Church)…I guess that band didn’t know how to google. And the other bunch apparently never heard of Katrina.

Hmm, I wonder how they’re going to cover the cost of amending their signage….
Actually, if they decide to change the signage, letterhead, all uniforms, etc. it will cost a ton of money. My company just changed its name. It's a company you've never ever heard of and the signage change at every location, graphics on fleet vehicles, etc. is going to cost millions and take a couple of years.

Exactly, and in the end, it’s the customers who are going to get screwed when it gets passed down. Or else payroll will get cut, which actually may not impact things that much.
