Guitar Center does it again!

What about the Rosewood import ban?

It's American Made so the import ban is not relevant to US buyers... They either are using up their Rosewood inventory or they legally imported the raw materials.

IMO the black headstock is odd with this. Otherwise, I dig the shell pink/mint guard/rosewood board combo.

I love pink.
I love the rosewood veneer headstock.

I don't like them together. A Reese's , this bass is not.

Where’s the headstock decal?

Pink?? With a mint green pick guard and a headstock color that really doesn't match anything? Ugh. :vomit:

It is a solid rosewood neck, not a painted or veneered headstock. The logo is laser etched into the rosewood.

Thanks for emphasizing that these have all rosewood necks! Too bad no one will read your post before they post about the necks being black or veneer or some other incorrect material/finish.

EDIT: THE HEADSTOCK LOGO MAY BE BURNED IN (NOT A GOOFED UP DECAL)

IMO, the color combo is off, and a lot of people seem to agree.

I observe that pink and "girly" color instruments tend to be valued much higher than the same axe in standard colors, years down the line.

I actually like that. Don't know why, but I do.

I like it as well. The shell pink and slightly greenish pickguard are very psychedelic, and all the more so for not being in your face - it kind of plays with your head rather than assaulting it. That and the dark neck create a very artful photo-negative effect. Just needs some of those dayglo strings and a strobe light...
