Not bass gear, but I made a long drive on Thursday to pick up a small PA head for a Saturday freebie show at a nursing home. When I tried it out that night at at love volume (using cables that are known to be good), the thing shut down because it was over temperature (the back was hot to the touch). I took it back on Friday and was quite clear about the problem I encountered. No problems returning it, but it was back up for sale on Monday morning (or sooner).

It's the one for $149.99 in Highland Park, IL.

Not s 2tek, looks like one of those bridges where each string has its own independent piece. Has replaced tuners also.

Heads up fellas!

There is a Spector Doug Wimbish Sig listed on the GC Used site for $549. Unfortunately, it has some damage to the neck, so it may not be as great of a deal as it seems. Figured I would save ya'll some time and effort by posting the pics I have here. It may simply be a Euro, not a Wimbish, as it does not say Wimbish on the back of the headstock.

I've got one.

I was looking at a Yamaha Stagepas 300 PA system at the Hollywood store for $279. When I checked the price last Monday morning, it had been dropped to $239. I called the store and asked them if it was complete (mixer, cables, etc) and they told me it was. I gave them my credit card number and told them I'd pick it up on Saturday morning.

I drove down there on Saturday morning to pick it up but something told me I should see it work first. They hooked it up and lo and behold, DOA!
