Ordered this the other day and had it shipped to my local GC:

I was pretty stoked as these are super rare and seem to be nice power amps. Glad I had it shipped to a store because the box was DESTROYED. It was packed horribly for how heavy it is and was really beat up. Bent corners on all sides and scratches all over. The photos up there now are from the original listing, not its current shape. I didn't plug it in, I just bailed when I saw the condition it was in. Still a good deal for what it is, but buyer beware!

FWIW. I'd avoid this Octabvre. I bought and returned it, as something was clearly wrong.
The lower octave cuts out after ~1 second, regardless of string or fret (+12th of G, lower register notes, all of em). I tried different basses, pickup configurations, power supplies, cables, and the issue persisted.

Don't buy this! It's the ISP beta bass DSP Dave Elefson pedal. It powers on but no text on the screen and nothing but weird digital noises. Ordered online used then returned it to my local GC and they put it up for sale again even though they know it doesn't work.
The same thing happened with a used bass amp I got a couple years ago.

I've had this happen several times with items I've bought from GC lately. Recently I bought a Sadowsky advertised as a NYC at a NYC price. When it arrived it was a Metro. Returned it to my local GC and told them it was a Metro, they immediately relisted again as a NYC. I've had it GC and won't buy from them again.
That's crappy! Hopefully they returned the shipping charge too (and that it'll keep getting returned by subsequent buyers).
For me this time they did but for the amp they didn't. Now the pedal is in the window at the store, not out where people can try it
Yeah I made sure of that. It sold not too long after and I never saw it again. I guess they just keep selling it til some sucker comes along that doesn't know any better.
I'm glad that they refunded the shipping charge. I had problems with the store being willing do to that when there's something wrong with the gear. Now, my first step is to call the toll-free number, tell them what the situation is and they've been very good about refunding the shipping charge before I head to my local store to return the gear.
I bought an aguilar gs412 at guitar center,'s website and had three speakers not working, one speaker sounding very distorted and tweeter were broken in four pieces, plus screen damage. I returned next day and bought another aguilar gs112, when I received it has the only speaker blown. I decided to keep it because I was planning to replace stock speaker with a neo, so not needing that speaker, anyways.
I ordered a second gs112 yesterday, I dont care how it arrives, I will replace rat fur, plastic corners and speaker.
Im waiting for my store to fix the gs412 to buy it again.

Excellent
This product is in "like new" condition and shows little to no signs of use. Free from blemishes, scratches, and user wear. All controls are completely functional.
I guess that for them, the frets do not qualify as any kind of "controls"...
It's not just that, both pieces on the neck are going different directions fighting each other. One side has a back bow and the other has a front bow. It will never be straight.

The price is great but I returned this one couple days ago. Bass is good shape, has marks and dings on body and pickguard but nothing major, neck is straight and frets are in good shape. It is on the heavy side.
The problem is that the amp is not working because the 9 volt battery socket has a broken wire. make sure you test the amp before buying it. I did not want to deal with their repair guy and already bought another bass so I returned it.
