I've never played a Fender Dirnt, but my Squier Dirnt weighs less than seven pounds.
The Fender has an ash body. The Squier is Agathis. I've played a few Fender Mike Dirnts and they were over 10 pounds. Doesn't bother me, but a lot of people seem to be really sensitive about weight.
I've seen that PJ Dirnt here years back, it was built by a TB member. I have bought Dirnts used on GC for $350-$400, like 3 of them so where they got $600 for a modified one with extra holes in the headstock I have no idea.
Betting that's not the original finish, but it DOES appear to have a Lane Poor pickup. Not bad at $1749

Sorry, but I have to post this just to bicker a little, and make sure no one buys this thinking it's a bass cab. I bought it, they shipped it up to me from Texas, and it is an open-backed guitar cab. I don't have any idea why they would list it under "bass cabinets" again, because they're just going to lose shipping again. Plus, no one who would want it is going to see it there. On a positive note, it's in beautiful condition and works perfectly.

No idea what this is, but it's kinda cute in its homliness, and the price is right.
