What is this Fender?

It's not the expensive FMT, so is it a MIM version? Or does it just have a different neck on it? It has the 6 bolt neck, but truss rod access on the head. I just hadn't seen this before.
edit: and the tuners look like american versions too.
There's also a squier aerodyne, which I thought would be a squier mb-5, but isn't. Every other day lately, I see a fender I didn't know existed.

The Squier Aerodyne is not an Aerodyne....GC has is mislabeled, as is often the case.

Musiciansfriend use to have good prices on open box stuff id stack coupons on. Once i got a jazz 24 for cheaper then that, mine was black. I liked it except the preamp was trash. I returned it.

I just turned down a trade for one of them. Are they that great?
I quite liked them. In my case it was that there was an NOS one sitting in a local music store for like, a decade plus, never purchased. Still had tags and everything. Music store went out of business before I could scoop the bass up. Never found out what happened to it.
I wouldn't consider either of these a deal compared to new prices. But, there's a lot of love for Sire on this site and GC has 2 available.
