Be careful when it says COMES WITH A CASE.

I bought from GC, and that note DOES NOT APPEAR on the Purchase Order page. Your receipt has NO PROOF of this claim.

I knew I had been offered a case, and said I was returning the bass if they did not send a case. They sent one.....eventually.

I have not bought from them since.
This happened to me recently. I pushed them about it and sure enough a mistake had been made in the shipping and they shipped it to me soon afterz

I always take a screen shot of the listing where it's shows the condition and that it includes a case. Never had a problem, but if I did, I'd have the screen shot to back me up.

Yup, always get some evidence of the original listing. Screen shots are best.
And anyways, if you're not in an extreme hurry to buy, you can always contact the store and confirm whether or not they will really ship the bass in a case.

For the record, every bass I've bought online from GC that says it comes in a case or gig bag actually has.

I remember someone looking to pick this up, not sure if it was in this thread but I'll leave it here: for search purposes Markbass classic 300 tube amp head

This says it's a MIM but looks MIA to me...Jazz Bass 60th Anniversary Electric Bass Guitar: Fender '60s Jazz Bass - Olympic White

I could be wrong, but this looks like one of these:

I wouldn't put it past a GC employee to type 60th Anniversary as opposed to 60's reissue. They have an automated system for entering descriptions so it may have autofilled.
