Very cool, quite rare, narrow spaced (think Warwick or early 90's Ibanez) 5 string, non reverse Epi Thunderbird. I believe Allen Woody used to use a 4 string version of this at times. Probably not the greatest deal, but as rare as they are, if you are looking for one, they don't show up very often...

Unfortunately, it just another bolt on PJ bass, not really a Thunderbird.
Looks like one, but with no T-Bird pickups, what's the point?
I really would love to have a real Non Reverse Thunderbird though!

Is this actually a Roscoe?

It looks like one of the earlier Roscoes -though the ones I've seen so far had pointier headstocks; the one on this one reminds me a bit of elrick NJS headstocks but other than that it looks kosher.

I heard some of these were known to develop some neck issues so you should probably be wary of it if you're going to pull the trigger on it. But then it's what I've heard, not experienced first hand. So take what I say with a grain of salt.

Either way, it doesn't scream deal of the century to me. I've seen similar ones sell for less than that in the classifieds here.

Sorry to hear it man. At least GC is good about taking returns. Make sure you mention that it's totally fried as per the manufacturer - even then I'm sure we'll probably see it listed 48 hours later :-/
I'm bummed but they said they Will refund all my money, including shipping and tax.
I was trying to avoid going to the store and also spending the money on a brand new one. It looks like I'll be going to the store tomorrow and likely spend the money towards a brand new amp.
