Was the thing you read about this in TB? I'd like to find out more about this.If I am not mistaken, it is a Wishbass made from Guitar Fetish clearance parts. I think I recall reading somewhere that he had done a few of these builds.

The neck looks like the "Arbor" brand neck I bought off ebay some years back for 40 bucks but ut it could have come from any number of part-outs, surplusses or the aforementioned GF clearance stuff. The control cavity cover is a dead giveaway for Wish. Far be it from him to take the time to actually drill small individual holes for volume and input. I can just about guarantee you that under that cover is a nearly-as big hole rought-cut with a drill and hole bit. Still, if I was able to see it in person, I'd probably buy it if it was playable. That kind of wierdness is right up my alley. If I am not mistaken, it is a Wishbass made from Guitar Fetish clearance parts. I think I recall reading somewhere that he had done a few of these builds.
the body is on the GF site, as is the neck..but the body on the site is drilled for a 2 pu jazz guitar box setup, so I don't get what I am looking at, as there would be holes for 4 controls, another pu etc. Also it's funny how GC lists this as a "double cut" And I agree with you, I like weird cheap stuff like this..but the only Wishbass part I see is the control cover. And by the time it got to Chicago..mehh I think too much money that you'd never get back. If it was a hundred less, I'd get it though. BOY being part of the 1% sure feels great. The neck looks like the "Arbor" brand neck I bought off ebay some years back. The control cavity cover is a dead giveaway for Wish. I've seen a wish or two made with stock necks but never one like this.
Also, those Lakland deals are fantastic!

You're more than welcome, the more the merrier!OT, but I should sign into the bass party on 4/30
The bass is sold. I happened to be traveling through Greensboro yesterday and decided to make a detour to GC to check it out and at least make a video of it for you guys but when I inquired about it the dude working the register knew what I was talking about immediately and said it had sold through the site but was still showing up for some reason. I guess I wasn't the first to inquire about it.
That's a good deal for a Super J[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
