I am not buying but I appreciate your feedback, it would be priceless if in case I was interested in this bass.

I noticed that as well. They also have a jazz special listed with the geddy pic, so they just mixed up the photos. I emailed them about it but never heard back. Most stores don't seem to respond to email queries anyway

Glad to hear you snagged it. I've owned both and the + is worth the extra $, esp. for the price you paid. 2 sweepable mids, high pass filter to roll off boomy low end, bright switch, and FX loop are the differences I can think of.

You can get $700 shipped all day for it here if you flip, probably clearing $640. Would have been $620 to my door with shipping and tax, so you are in the plus side if you don't like.

It was a little over 6 for me, I think your tax rate is a lot more than mine. Thanks for the post though man, really excited to try this amp out.
