Guitar Center used site

They don't negotiate the price of used basses, they will discount one if it has been there 90 days or more.
It's policy, and regular employees don't have the ability to change prices and managers rarely do it before 90 days...and then it's ten percent.
In my experience, the store managers at the two GCs I am most familiar with will cut by sales tax % up to 10% and sometimes toss in a set of strings.

I found it. Looks like you must purchase $499 or greater on GC Gear Card. No idea if there are more restrictions.

I recently ordered an Aguilar DB-359 that was $699 on there and was STOKED about it. Had it shipped to a local GC and went to pick it up two days after it said it arrived. They spent 30 min looking for it and couldn't find it in the warehouse. They said they'd call when they tracked it down, that was last Wednesday. Finally called them and got a refund yesterday. I know some of the guys there and they're OK, stuff just happens.

Just a heads up if someone sees that pop back up, it may not actually be there.

I'm guessing that they must have sold it to someone else, or someone stole it... If you had a UPS tracking number and it showed that it had been delivered, what other possibilities are there?

I generally don't have stuff "shipped to store" because I found that sales tax ends up being cheaper shipped to my home than any of the stores in my area. Might be different for folks in other places.

Yeah, there was a working tracking number and it said it was delivered to their store. They were able to process the transaction when I was picking it up, just couldn't find it in the back. They said it could have gotten put with the outgoing boxes and accidentally loaded on a truck, although the UPS guys scan each box as they go out, so I doubt that's the case. Yeah, probably accidentally given to someone else or stolen. Sucks, but nothing I can really do.
