Guitar Center used site

I stopped by earlier today and saw this. Its in great condition physically but didn't have enough time to plug her in. Actually another bass caught my eye - The store a had a mint condition 1993 Trans White US P bass for $850. It was super light too... My guess not more than 9lbs. I was so tempted in getting it, but managed to walkout without acquiring new gear. ;)
You have to go back for the usa white p you know that right

$120 less than it costs brand new. Not bad.

I played this. It was great aside from a scratchy treble pot. The back of the neck is pretty banged up, but that's fairly common with these. It's passive, btw.

$199 for that fretless seems like a great price, but 1 star by GC's standards must be like negative 3 stars in the real world.
I didn't realize they had a star rating system. Never even noticed that.

I bought a used bass last week. It arrived good/not as great as presented. I wonder if they'll give a partial refund. I have to call them.

Nice. There's one in Ventura too. I believe around the same price iirc.
FYI Aerodynes have a harder edge on the forearm than JB. Almost a combination of slab & contoured body.

The non-export Aero in Buffalo is in very rough shape and needs a refin, unless you're OK with the back of it looking like it got dragged across a gravel road. I would have driven down for that one, but in that shape, not so sure. Also, it's matte black, which sounds to me like it's already had some finish work done on it, as they never came in matte or satin finish to my knowledge. I may still grab it if it sits for a while, as I want to experiment doing a carbon fiber finish with Aero binding, but only after I get rid of some surplus parts/project stuff that has been piling up.

Another non-export Aero - also in black - has popped up today in Minnesota. It's $499 instead of $399, but if it's in good condition then that's still a great price for something otherwise very hard to get your hands on. The regular black ones usually get that much or more at GC, or around $600 locally, while a non-export Aero can go for up to $750ish. Could be a good flipper for someone.
