This was my first cutaway.
All my acoustic guitars now have cutaways (five of them on four guitars).
As some of you may have heard, Michael Stanly has passed on.
I had not known him long, and only spoken with him in the last few months. He was many things, and just one of those was a great lover of music. I am proud to have a guitar that he gave me in the last month of his life. I'm not much of a guitar player, but I plan to get better with the skinny little strings.

Hey all. Recently I got myself a congratulatory gift on account of my 1000 days sober, and today it arrived!

More guitar porn - My 2010 MIM Road Worn 50's Tele. Dimarzio Twang-King bridge and custom wired neck by my pal, Spencer Deaton.
Replaced steel bridge with compensating brass one.
Otherwise, pots & switch all original and good quality. Same with braded cloth wiring.

‘70’s Strat reissue. Had it for 17 years now
Finally getting this one dialed in... did some mods and changed the string gauge and keep putting it away between tweaking the set up. I decided to re set it up and do some fingerboard rolling and fret clean up... I think I'm in love again

I always liked Ritchie Blackmore’s natural finish & maple neck he played at the California Jam.
Top 3 favorite finishes on Strats for me.
