Yea, I’m pretty sure the seller just reduced his market. - OP recommend addind to the poll: “would you buy an instrument that you knew for a fact has been on direct contact with a strangers toilet”. The number of no’s might be a significant statistic. Personally I’d be ok with it (after a purell bath).

I think it's lame. A long while back someone posted a thread where the pictures of the bass were also taken in the bathroom.

I commented that it was disgusting and I wouldn't buy a bass from someone who felt the bathroom was a place for a guitar to be. I got a lot of crap for that. "The lighting is better", "why is that disgusting?", "don't you play on the throne?". IIRC

When attempting to buy or sell something, the bathroom is the last place it needs to be on display. Unless your buying or selling bathroom items. And even with that, I'd prefer they stay out of the bathroom, no matter how clean it may be.
