Guitar store woes...

I think I'm going to go into GC tomorrow, turn the amp to 11, and play this song. I will be a guitar wanker

And where did the idea to play this song come from, that HP commmercial? :D Haha, I'm sure you were familiar with it way before that... or at least I hope....

Wow, this is like chat. BTW, admins, where's the live chat? That would be kick ass...

The guitar store called yesterday for my price quote. They want to charge me 599 for a 525 bass, PLUS $60 shipping! They told me shipping was gonna be free!

I called the sales guy an ******* and hung up, I was pissed.

So now I'm ordering it myself. For $590 I can have it delivered to my doorstep. But all the websites (I checked them ALL, trust me, I spent an hour searching) don't have the black ESP F-255, only the blue one. The blue one looks hella gay, so I'm just gonna wait until jul 29, which is when they'll have the bass.

So hopefully I should be getting it august 1-2

Yeh, the Lord giveth, and the government taketh away...

:(

Oh, the gear I could buy with that 15%...or Invisiman with that 13%...or Joey with that 7%...man that IS an outrage!!! :crying:

BTW, do you guys in Canada lock your doors? :smug:

when I lived in the city I did religiously...then I started getting less paranoid out here in the 'burbs so I only locked them when I was out...recently some guy walked into a house and hacked up two people the next town over, so I've started being more security conscious and locking up again.

Actually, was it sort of a joke, but the reason I ask is cuz of what was featured in "Bowling for Columbine." During the Canada segment of the movie, Michael Moore went around asking people in Canada if they locked their doors, and almost everyone didn't. One person's house was even broken into, and they still didn't lock her doors after that. :rollno: :D Did you guys see this movie?
