Guitar store woes...

Actually, was it sort of a joke, but the reason I ask is cuz of what was featured in "Bowling for Columbine." During the Canada segment of the movie, Michael Moore went around asking people in Canada if they locked their doors, and almost everyone didn't. One person's house was even broken into, and they still didn't lock her doors after that. :rollno: :D Did you guys see this movie?

Haven't seen it yet, but that doesn't surprise me.

I sorta figured, but we all make fun of my dad when he locks the doors since we've seen it.

I can really relate to what you're dealing with.

I was planning to buy a new bass, and a friend of mine's father has a business connection with the importer of ESP in Norway (where I happen to live), so I could get a bass for import price from there.
So, his dad called to those people and I was informed that they had the bass I wanted.

I ordered it right on the second I got to know.
Days went by with me waiting for my new bass to arrive. After about two or three weeks I got a call. The bass seemed to be missing from the warehouse, so no new bass for me it seemed.

So.. I started looking for new basses, and had pretty much descided on a new one.

Then, I got a call, and I was offered an ESP JM-500 instead, and I got it about 3 days after ordering it. The price I payed for it: About $780 instead of the about $1600 stores charge for it. (Norway is an expencive country.. ..yes.)

I'm very happy with my bass, but I tell you.. ..the waiting time sucked. :smug:
