One solution I have found is the Kel-Tec .380. Granted, this is not my first or second caliber of choice but it beats the heck out of a rock in a nasty situation and is un-noticable in your jeans back pocket. (horrible trigger pull)

Second that- Warm s Florida is also concealment challenge. Ruger now makes a clone of that Kel-Tec pistol, the LCP. Both very flat and easy to conceal in a wallet-like holster in front or back pocket. Trigger pull is not great, sights are worse. But yes, better than a rock!

For the 642 the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster in front pocket of loose cargo shorts is a good choice.

I carry a Kahr PM9. 9mm in a package about the size of my palm. I love it for carry. Just disappears and stays outta the way. Definitely conceals better than standard subcompacts such as Glock 26 or XD subcompact. When I have good cover such as a coat in the winter I still carry my XD .45 compact with 10 rd mag.

I'm on the verge of buying a S&W Sigma 9mm or Ruger P95, both inexpensive semi-autos. But there's no hurry to make a decision.

Yep, I carry a Kel-Tec P32 more often than anything else, it is my "always gun" as small and light as it is there's no excuse to be unarmed.

The KelTec P-32 is a managable gun, where the .380 version, (P-3AT) will almost jump out of your hand when firing. I had one for the size/power ratio, but traded it off after the 1st time on the range with it. Horrible. Been trusting it all to a sweet little 3" Kimber stainless, and though it's not a pocket gun, it's everything I could ever need in a bad situation. 8x .45 ACP is alot of defense.

I love me CDP Pro. It was a great gun after I added Wolf Xtra power springs and replaced the plastic MSH with a Ed brown snakeskin. Those springs really work, it eats everything I feed it.

I scored a Remington 1100 like-new at a garage sale for $100 a couple of years ago. The guy said it had 9 rounds through it and I believed him from the looks of it. It also came with a gun safe. I sold the gun for $350 to fund my AR-15 and put the gun safe in my closet.

I have an 870 Wingmaster in 16 ga.

I've been trying to find an extra barrel. The stock bbl. is a 28" VR/Mod, and I'd like to get another on which to mount a Poly-Choke.

Any help/hints would be appreciated.

I've been searching Gunbroker and Shotgunworld. The only two VR's I've found demanded ridiculous prices. I'll add Guns America to the list.

Natchez is great. When I was shooting competitively, I did so much business with them and Midway I had "Personal Check OK" COD accounts with both.

having a 16 gauge is like having my BPS 20 gauge. Finding extra barrels is really tough unless you want to spend more than you spent on the gun in the first place...
