Your going to love that gun. I bought one when they first came out in the early 90's. They also offered it in a 10

awesome... my only struggle was 26" vs 28" barrel

Initially i got 26" because of mobility and quickness to aim (rabbit hunting). I tried changing it to 28" later on but they didn't have any in stock, so i am going with 26"

I think i should be fine, 28" would add a little bit more range, but i am not sure if that matters. :/


So not 100% sure on my choice in barrel length but 100% sure on the gun itself.

10 gauge ammo is expensive.

Brand new was 700+ fees/tax

expensive, but worth it... I am sure i could have found it cheaper but, i needed it now.

I hate to say it but i paid $400. Inflation, got to love it.

The only issue I had with Browning is that I ordered an extra full choke and it took almost a year to get it. But I probably attribute that to the newness of the gun and that lack of stock at the time.

Local store has some Kicks for this gun in stock. Won't be a problem. From what i read the 3 chocks it comes with are not very good.

Irritation: My wife won a Benelli Nova recently. I was looking for a 18.5" replacement barrel - finally located one for $460!

You can report it stolen - it's a long shot and usually works out for the real owner in the end, but rarely people have been hassled this way.

Has to be more to it than that. I would think you would be asked for ID when making a report of a stolen gun? Now if you weren't the licenced owner of the guns then I might see that as a problem.

You're assuming guns are registered. In my state, they are. In most, they are not.

Just got a new toy. Hopefully I will have optics on it in 3 or 4 weeks.

It's a Spikes lower with the Spikes enhanced LPK, a Noveske N4 16" Light Recce Lo Pro with Magpul furniture.
