My dad had one for a bit. I loved how easy takedown was.

Let me say tho, I am definitely no expert on guns.
I'm the sort of guy that says; show me how to use it, I'll use it well and train others to use it well, but if it breaks down or specs are debated in detail, then I'll be screaming for my armorer!

I've never been a Beretta pistol fan but I know many who are. Nice gun!! I like their shotguns

The only things I don't like about the 1911 are the difficulty cleaning (almost lost an eye with that spring) and the capacity. The latter isn't much of a deal as the former.

Two 2009 Colt Delta Elite 10mm. One is low serial # 54. I don't shoot that one.

Also have a Colt Anaconda 44 mag custom shop ported, Colt goverment model 45, Colt defender. A DPMS AR15 and a DPMS AR10. Weatherby Accumark and Sako and a Remington 870 pump.
And I have the new Remington 1911 R1 45 on the way.

Your going to love that gun. I bought one when they first came out in the early 90's. They also offered it in a 10
