The craftspeople at Royce spare no effort to deliver the true Gibson experience at a K-Mart price. #PlayAuthenticAlso interesting the head snap off isn't only a Gibson issue.

Yeah, I see the sexism in it, and even thought that when I was typing it (and though she said it, not me, I'm still guilty of furthering the idea).
As someone who appreciates language, though, I will say that "Probably an upset significant other" doesn't flow as smoothly. We'll have to come up with a new signifier.
....poor little guitar, it will never play a song again or annoy a bass player with a lead break of 16 bars or more
Honestly, when I saw it, my first thought was "punk guitarist takes his cheapest guitar and does the punk-smash on stage, and has now discarded said cheap guitar".She said, “Probably an upset girlfriend.”
"Thrash" model
Someone is stealing them, finding out they are not worth much or they can not be moved then tossing them.Strangely enough, it’s the third guitar I’ve found on the curbside in my neighborhood (the others were not destroyed like this). Maybe the standard work of our local delivery guy?
So I’m out talking my evening walk with my wife, and not two blocks from my house I find this in the gutter – a Royce guitar in several pieces. The headstock is still attached to the bridge by strings, and though one of the pickup covers is bent flat, it’s basically a complete guitar (or at least was).

A young adult lady is walking on the sidewalk, and I say “Do you think it fell off a car?” She said, “Probably an upset girlfriend.”
There are a few sites with info, but not much. People seem to have used them as starter guitars back in the day.

I’m going to give it to a friend who buys those kits and makes his own guitars and basses – this one didn’t come with directions, but he should be able to figure it out.
That's "Reverb" listing in the making, vintage, slight scratch on headstock, road worthy guitar,....
Have this print on my wall. Love the smoke.Looks like Pete Townshend got a hold of it.
