That would have been me, and yes, it applies here as well.

if someone tried to do that at a shop i was working at i would proceed to turn the amp off take the bass off him and say. please leave. now.
The funny thing about this is he thinks he is good! Laying down a killer bass line for all to hear. 
And it looks like someone was just walking around that store with a camera filming? Maybe it was his Mom. 
Now we know what happens to good basses in stores when we're not around.

That was the look on my face the entire time of that video...and believe me, it was not because I was impressed. lol
I have cut people off for less than that before when I worked at a music store. It was a small store and there were lesson rooms close by. I would just say, "Hey man, there are lessons going on right there and the doors aren't completely soundproof." Then I would either turn the amp down to barely audible or off, depending on the severity of the crime.
Geez, that Ric just dropped $300-$400 in value! Dude thought he was rocking too! I guarantee you they were laughing their arses off when he left! I hope he purchased something to make it all worthwhile!!
