Guy trys out a Bass at shop!!!!!!!!!!

To steal a quote from Terry Pratchett:

People shouldn't be allowed to do that sort of thing to a defenseless musical instrument. It was like raising a little pony, feeding it and grooming it properly, plaiting ribbons in its tail, giving it a nice field with bunnies and daisies in it, and then watching the first rider take it out with spurs and a whip.

Oh, and Soul Music ought to be required reading for musicians.

Anyway, carry on.

It pissed me off because I am a beter bassist than him, yet I've never been able to play a rick despite my almost crippling gas. And yet along comes this idiot...

What do you think is number one on my GAS list? (It's an upright bass, but after that... Ric) He wasn't beating it that hard, and my guess is he didn't buy it afterwards.

A lot of people own nicer things than you, so what?

? You guys are weird. That wasn't horrid as you guys made it sound. He was a little rough on a bass that he probably isn't going to buy... other than that, I don't feel it's worth the several pages of "OH my god that was the worst thing ever" that you guys are dishing out.

It seemed to me that the funny part was the rock star mentality with which he approached what he was doing and where he was doing it.
