Guys wearing "skinny" pants

About a year ago, someone made a thread in the Band Management forum about an employee's manual type of document for a wedding band called DearJon that he had come across on the Internet. The entire thing read like a legal document and went into crazy detail about everything, even so far as to how to handle another musician making a clam on stage.

The bandleader of that wedding band is the shaved-headed Anton LaVey looking dude in that video. I was so fascinated by the whole anal, micromanaging of that document, coupled with the mediocre performance videos for DearJon, I looked up the BL and found out he used to front a bad AOR-inspired band called F.U.

God bless the internet :)

are "boot-cut" jeans considered skinny? i once ordered six pairs of loose fitting jeans and decided to get one pair of the B-C just for variety. man, those B-C's feel hella tight, IMHO. i feel a bit sexy when i put them on, so i only wear them on date night's. i guess they are my version of "Bang-Me" jeans!

Bootcuts are sooooo '00s, and rather unflattering.

Maybe it's because I'm currently playing country, but EVERYBODY I'm around wears bootcuts. My current favorite pair of jeans are some Calvin Klein bootcuts in a dark blue wash. I think that while the size of the leg opening may change with trends, bootcuts themselves will never really go out of style.

For last night's show, I wore a pair of Buckaroo jeans. I scored them from Plato's Closet for like 18 bucks. I wore a pair of Diesel bootcuts the night before. Also scored those for like $22. :bassist: Authenticating a pair of Diesels is real easy - look at the silver microstitching on the inside tag with the Native American picture - so you can really find some killer deals for them on the used market.

wore skinny jeans, bowtie, and suspenders (no belt) to a gig. (A la 11th doctor) once

The hipster is strong with this one. :p

And yeah, pleats are horrible. They make you look wider than what you really are.
