It's an old saying..... from an old guy.

Way back in the 1900s, those Neanderthals who walked the earth actually left their phones in one place. Some even bolted them to the wall!!!! I must admit, I'm the offspring of such primitive beings. Those phones had access to exactly zero data...including the phone numbers of businesses and people nearby. As such, they relied on thick books which contained nothing but phone numbers.

Daryl Hall could turn to any page in that book and start riffing on it. It would groove.
I still call those things that pave highways, Steam-rollers!:D

All I'll say is that Hall and Oates are a national treasure. Great band.

Hall & Oates are among the most successful groups of all time—and still among the most underrated. Their albums are ALL eminently listenable. You'll find yourself thinking, over and over again, 'Why didn't they put this one out as a single?'.

It's amusing to think that there are adults, parents even, who didn't experienced the world before mobile phones and the internet existed. I quite like the technology deniers from that generation who refuse to accept there can have been an advanced technology era without everyone having social media and continual online communication...

Social media has made for a steady decline of civilization. In some ways younger people are more advanced than we.... mature people. In some ways they're not.

You jealous, bro? Bobby was doing fine in the notoriety department, the videos were just icing on the cake.

Jealousy is about the last thing that would come to mind... and if that's the icing on the cake I'll be sure to pass. The videos are actually pretty pathetic, I was hoping some loved ones might through them an intervention.

Have tickets for King Crimson at the end of the month. Fripp is known for more than those quarantine fun videos. He's easily among the top 5 most influential guitar players of all time. His wife had more Billboard charted hits than you have fingers. If you don't like their Sunday jokes don't watch.
As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with a couple of married superstars blowing off steam during covid. But the cuffs are off and both of them will be out on world tours as usual.

lf l make it to that show l'll try to wave at ya.

l'll be the chunky guy in the Yes shirt. (that should narrow it down........)
