I'm always lost in a sea of testosterone at those kinds of shows. Should be a great show, though, in spite of all that. Last time I saw them was way back on the Discipline tour.

If it's anything like last tour, it will be truly excellent, and quite loud. That'll happen with three drummers. Last time they did some extraordinary stuff.

I saw Hall & Oates live in 2013 and was very impressed. Oates did more singing than I expected and Hall contributed a lot instrumentally as well as vocally. I also think it's great that Hall reinvented himself with the tv show.

I live 30 minutes from Daryl's House in Pawling, NY, which is a live music venue (bar/restaurant with stage) that books some outstanding acts. It's owned by Hall and inspired by his show. Without question it's the best live music option in my rural area (unless I travel 2 hours to NYC, of course.) Some favorite shows I've seen there have included Ana Popovic and The Motet. The Levin Brothers were there recently, but I was out of town and therefore missed my chance to see Tony Levin in a club setting. Bakithi Kumalo was also there not too long ago - plenty of bass education for the audience happens in this place!

Check out their live "She's Gone" like the scat duet at the end. And I think one of their best set of lyrics, maybe after "Sara Smile". SS is one great soul song. They knew their craft and knew how to arrange.

I thought his Covid lockdown videos were pure Fripp…with all that implies. His wife Toyah is a trip IMO. Watch some of their…uh…antics and you'll swear you're stoned. Save a fortune on booze and/or weed that way. ;):p
