I didn't appreciate those guys in the 80s when they were churning out brilliant pop songs. I was into punk and new wave and they just didn't seem hip to me. Now when I hear the songs I recognize them for the brilliant pop songs that they are. And I love Live from Daryl's House.

John did have one heck of a porn 'stache back in the day….

I read that last part phonetically and pictured a stack of magazines.

One has to be incredibly un self-aware, self-indulgent, or vastly overcompensating to rock a 70's pornstache of that magnitude . . . Either that, or he's actually a Navy Seal.

Daryl has obviously been the more active of the two, but their ability to write and perform accessible and (imo) quality music as a duo, throughout the popular genres of the time over a decade plus, deserve my respect and recognition.

Edit: I saw them with Train a few years ago. It was a very good show, fun, good sound, and entertaining.

Anyone who doesn't like them is just . . . Outta touch.
