Ok Marko....

I can't speak for everyone that's ordered a bass from you but I, for one, am starting to get mightily aggravated at the lack of any forthcoming information from you....

I have a simple question for you Marko.....

Are you going to stop effin' me around and reply to a request for info, or should I assume that something has gone horribly wrong at your end and that you haven't got the nads to say something?.....

PLEASE Marko.....INFO!......

Delays are part of the game. I played the SGD Pickups lottery once, and I've waited over a year for my Stambaugh Omega bass, and other customs take time. The main thing that keeps us sane is communication, and then hopefully a great product.

I'd really like to know when my K will be completed and shipped. I don't care about the reasons for any delay. If it can't be done in an agreed upon extension of time (3 month? 6 months? 15 years???) then I'd expect a refund.

I do feel a bit bad because canceling all of his k orders will probably put a serious dent in his business.

Keep the customer satisfied.

I won't be cancelling my K until it becomes completely clear that there will be none forthcoming.....

I'm a very patient man.....I hate being left in the dark though....

Long time talkbass auditor, first time poster. Ordered off Facebook. Full scale, dual pup, satin blackout. I agree the companies communication could be better. The delays don't bother me (yet), but being left wondering what's up with no updates does make me feel some kind of weary. Regardless, I'm confident I'll love the bass. Finding this forum has eased the pain of waiting considerably.

Welcome to TalkBass!!!!

Check your PM in a minute.

The bodies and necks come from overseas and then they are assembled in Canada. Don't really see what the problem is, the last update was that they were having a delay from the OEM manufacturer. What do you expect the guy to do, come on here everyday and tell you that there is no update? do you know how much time it would take a small company to reply to every request for an update? This is custom bass ordering 101.

No, but I DO expect him to come on here and update us when he says that he will.....

For example....

Also, the point made about more frequent updates is well noted. First thing I need to do is get the 2 pickup demo video posted, which will help clarify the tonal capabiliies a bit better. People in Dallas were genuinely surprised at the "full sized tone" out of the smaller looking and very light bass.

More to follow today or tomorrow...

This was posted weeks ago.....

Call me old fashioned but I expect people to do what they say that they're going to do when they say that they are going to do it......

If that becomes impossible then an explanation is in order.....

I don't want promises that can't be kept either.....

Just gimme some truth (In a timely manner)....

Custom basses take time and luthiers don't always respond to every little question you have. That's how it is. I guarantee I put my $ down way before you on one and I dont even consider this late. I've waited 9,10,12,18 and 21 months for basses before, basses where I wasn't out a lot more money than here... it sucks, but it's just the nature of it.
