I owned a 90's Jazz bass with a Kubicki designed pre-amp.
It had a rotary switch with an off position.
What a great & useful feature.
I have yet to try a Kubicki though.

One of the last basses Phil assembled and sold after he moved to the east coast. Body has a dent in it from a tool being dropped on it in assembly. He gave a great discount for it.
