I'm curious about grabbing one of these based on the price and power. I wouldn't mind comparing it to my PB500, which I still have to say is the best work horse for the price I got it at ($300 with a VT 1x15).
Anyone use the LH500 through a 4 ohm 2x12 Avatar?

Hey Ric - I've had mine nearly 2 years now with no drama. I play both acoustic duo stuff with it and modern hard rock, bordering on metal and it's great for both. No noise. I think it would be fine with the two cabs mentioned and should be plenty loud enough. I'm in Tassie mate - if you want I could throw you my mobile number if you want to know specific stuff.
I'm curious if anyone has compared this to a Carvin R1000 or Carvin BX1500. basically, a high powered Carvin. I'm looking for a super clean, warm sound with a lot of bottom end, headroom, and very little distortion.
