I haven't kept up with Hip Hop in the past 10 years or so, but I try to keep my ears and mind open to everything....I've even tried listening to BOTH kinds of music...COUNTRY and WESTERN!

...I've got a UNIQUE idea - you could try blending elements of hip hop and heavy metal and try to capture a brand new audience that's never imagined that the two could be combined!
I really like stuff like Asher Roth, The Roots, older Cypress Hill, Aesop Rock, Lyrics Born, and G. Love and Special Sauce. I cannot stand T pain, Lil Wayne, or anything like that though.
I'm not a hip hop fan or a Kanye fan, but I think the public is being way too harsh with Kanye West. I realize I am in an extreme minority on this. He made a terrible mistake, but I just feel the punishment is greater than the crime.![]()
