Has TB changed me? Yes and no. I'm an old geezer, who had to go through my own gear and tone epiphanies the hard way over the years, by stepping into a lot of pot holes myself before I came to TB. I think TB is educational, as all of the fine folks here are more than generous to share their knowledge as to how they do things, and an older dog like me can even learn new tricks, because I love to learn, and I know I don't know everything. As for gear in general, I know that all that is good gets honest kudos and praise here, while things that aren't so good also come under honest scrutiny. The honest real world reviews are a great help.
TB in spite of all of the gear talk, still expounds upon the gospel that all of us here need to keep on learning the art of making music upon our instrument no matter at what level of proficiency and career experience we may have. This is a great community, unlike any other I've seen on the net. Here players at all levels and across every style of music one can think of, can come together in a pretty friendly place and that's something you don't see every day.
