To be honest, my PC has crushed 2 times over, BIG TIME (with doth hard disks crushing and loosing everything). I lost several many files from my hard discs and I was only able to recover most of them with File Scavenger recently. I've been keeping EVERY Dingwall pic I've been able to find in a special folder and because of the data loss, I did not want to start re-downloading everything, but only the newer files (several of the older pics at the Dingwall forum were lost when the site was revamped, but I HAVE them at least most of them). It looks like after this weekend I will come and raid all the new pics from the Dingwall site (I have the date of the first big crush that I stopped visiting the DIngwall forum so I would not loose track of the pics I've downloaded). I aim to make all the pics available to all, at some point.

I am STILL Sheldon Dingwall's biggest headache and most devoted fan.

Yeah, I too always seem to come back to a Jazz or one of the many clones, currently a Lakland JO (backed up by a Fender 64 reissue).

An old Jazz was my second "real" bass. It replaced an old P that I really loved, but the Jazz just opened up so many other possibilities and is somewhat easier to play, in my opinion. It just feels right to me.

I thought until recently that I could be comfortable with any 5-string active bass with EMG soapbars (my last three basses have been these), but I'm gravitating towards passive tones and I'm liking the sounds of the P/J or MM/J p'up configurations. I've been trying to figure out my "type" for 5 years, and I still haven't really nailed it down.

I`m absolutely loving Warwicks right now. I currently have a 5 string Corvette Std. and a Streamer Stage 1. Both are amazing and cover nearly ever tone I could ever want. That said, I`m still gassing for a Sterling by MM Ray 35! But honestly, I think after that I`ll be covered for life.
