headphones...

So i was wondering if there was anyway i could hook up my sennheiser headphones to my amp(aguilar 500sc)? any ideas?

While I don't really recommend this, you can plug your headphones into a speaker output. After all, headphones are just small loudspeakers -- the operative word being SMALL. It would be very easy to destroy them with the amount of power an amplifier puts out. That, and the potential for hearing damage is high.

Of course, you will only get sound out of one earpiece (since speaker outputs are mono).

also, this may be a stupid question but just for my knowledge, why cant you just plug headphones straight into a bass?

A bass can't produce enough current to drive a pair of headphones. In technical terms, its output impedance is too high. This is typically true even with active basses.
